Missions, Mining, Hauling, Exploration, Trading and Ratting
- Missions - No mission running allowed under the normal SOP.
- Mining - No mining allowed, anywhere.
- Hauling - No one should be in a hauler during wars. Use out of corp alts.
- No running of any exploration sites in known-space will be allowed.
- Wormhole exploration is allowed for PvP-fitted ships. Refer to "War Time - Wormhole Operations Procedures" for further details.
- Ratting - No ratting allowed.
- Travel - Travel during Wartime is permitted when no Lockdown is in effect, but only in a shuttle, rookie ship, or PVP fitted fast frigate.
Lockdowns
Lockdowns mean that all pilots in the specified area must dock immediately and remain docked. This is typically the Aldrat area. There is only one reason you can undock and that is to join a forming fleet to deal with the hostiles (after the FC has given you permission to undock). PVP operations are allowed during lockdowns and once in a fleet, the stations should be checked for hostiles before anyone should undock to join it. You may at the discretion of leadership, leave the area via a shuttle, fast frigate, or clone jump.
Lockdowns will be posted in Alliance mail and lifted the same way. They will be from a director or senior fleet leadership. Violation of lockdown orders may result in the destruction of your ship and pod if you refuse to obey or fail to answer in a timely manner.
Abuse of these policies or attempts at barracks lawyering will result in having an unpleasant chat with the Fleet Admiral. If you are told by a director to stop doing something and fail to do so, that may also result in a talk with the Admiral.
Scouts
- Scouts are defined as ships capable of warping cloaked with the purpose of gathering intelligence.
- Scouts may fly covert ops ships and recon ships. Scouts may not fly stealth bombers.
- Cloak-fitted Ships not capable of warping cloaked should only be used as Pickets.
- Pickets are cloak-fitted ships or bombers that are emplaced in a single location to observe and report enemy movements. A designated picket should not engage in combat unless the entire fleet is present and their role as picket is over.
Behavior During Wartime
- No talking in local to hostiles or war targets. The only exceptions are:
- Directors.
- ILN ranked Captain and up.
- FCs are allowed to put GF (good fight) in local after combat, or to answer questions from neutrals that the fleet is because Ivy is at War. That's it.
- Do not talk to war targets via any means other than guns and missiles. They do our talking for us.
- Do not talk to neutrals about the war.
- Actions or behavior that damages the morale of the Uni will not be permitted. Constant griping about rules, time in station or just in general that could cause damage to the morale of the Uni will be punished by removal from corp until the war is over.
- Ship testing or loitering outside stations is not permitted during wartime. Scouts or pickets may observe stations cloaked, but non-cloaked ships must not sit outside. Weapons and tank testing should always be done at a planet, belt, or moon.
- If there is no lockdown, pilots may be outside of stations (not loitering right outside) and moving about the system. This is permitted for things like setting up bookmarks, testing new ship fits, etc. There is no ship size requirement and so long as the other rules are followed, it is fine to be out of station. (i.e. no missioning, mining, etc.)
Relaxed Wartime Policies
Some wars might have adapted wartime policies. These are specially announced along corp mail and forum and will only apply as long as stated in the mail or forum. ( See Also: Relaxed SOP )
Violation of Wartime Regulations
If you are caught flying afk, using autopilot, mining or other things in violation of wartime regulations, your ship and pod can be destroyed.
ILN personnel should do the following:
- Try to get their attention via alliance and corp Chat.
- Try to convo them personally.
- Try to eve mail them.
- Fire one warning shot to ding their shields
- Warp scram and web target.
- Fire second shot, failure to answer at this point means next step is ship destruction.
- Destroy ship.
- Collect loot, vaporize wreck and put loot on contract to the person destroyed.
You should give the person time to respond as you move through each step. If person 'wakes' up. Order them to dock and comply with regulations. If they refuse, then skip to step 7. If they comply, fine.
